  Nit's Café seemed kind of dim and all the tables were empty, except for the one by the kitchen where the chef and owner sat alone. We entered a little hesitantly, sat down and ordered a curried version of the fresh catch of the day, which today was ling cod. What a delicious surprise! It smelled wonderful while she was preparing it and tasted better than any restaurant fish we have eaten in years. If the place had not started to get busy we would have enjoyed sitting around with her and chatting for much longer. We feel very lucky to know of a friendly place we can look forward to returning to again and again.

  MOST EXCELLENT!
  
  Food: excellent! The Pad Thai is enough food to actually fill me up, and the curries are fantastic!
  
  Service: excellent! The owner is the only employee, I'd assume if really busy the quality of service could be affected, however it's like a secret treasure and is almost always empty leaving time to talk to the owner who is very sweet and polite.
  
  Atmosphere: excellent! The whole unit feels like it could be a cafe in SF, or somewhere in Italy just as easily - the gentleman riding a lobster in one of the posters is officially my hero, too :)
  
  Eat some food here, you won't regret it!
